A holistic overview of shale gas

Address Key Issues

Production, enablers, challenges and price

Gain A Full Understanding

Understand the impact that shale has had on the oil and gas industry

Key Takeaways

Gain knowledge to enable you to be able to expand shale operations into other parts of the globe

Obtain a general understanding of the petroleum industry

Gain a basic understanding of the shale oil and gas industry. Participants will be able to distinguish the characteristics that makes shale oil and gas different from other more conventional oil and gas developments. In particular, the characteristics that allowed shale oil and gas to be successful in the United States and Canada will be explained and a brief overview of some of the other shale basins in the world will be identified.

IN JUST 2 DAYS YOU WILL:

  • Become familiar with what shale oil and gas is
  • Understand where shale oil and gas exploration has been undertaken
  • Understand the key differences in production between shale oil and gas and conventional oil and gas
  • Become familiar with the key enablers of shale oil and gas developments
  • Understand the key challenges facing shale oil and gas developments
  • Understand how low prices effect shale oil and gas differently than conventional oil and gas

MEET YOUR TRAINER

Our expert has a unique background in the oil and gas industry that includes academic, consulting, and practical experience.
